Meet your Photographers

I’m Irene, owner and main operator of Brightside Photography. Very often, you might be fortunate enough to meet my husband, Jason, who often assists and second shoots for weddings and events. We are all about FAMILY. We understand the joy, passion, love, and even pain of this adventure called life. And we aim to capture every aspect of it for you.

Here is a little about me…

I’m a lover. I love God, my family, the oceans and mountains, food, animals, coffee, wine, family. (the list could go on!)

I’m a Mama. A beautiful, sassy daughter and two Great Danes.

I’m a nurse. It is said that nursing is not only a profession, but a part of who you are. This is true. My heart is huge and I feel blessed to have not one, but two passions.

I’m a storyteller and artist. I aim to deliver what is real, genuine and timeless. Whether that’s a photograph, a beautiful piece of art to hang on your wall, or even just a conversation.

Other things about me; I am ACLS and BLS, infant CPR certified, and have years of experience as a preschool teacher and nanny. This comes in handy with those family sessions!
